Recorded in November 1974 in Estudios Do Haway outrubro.
Whatmusic is a label that has reissued some really killer gems from the past. The label carries a killer catalog spanning from soundtracks, brasilian, latin and jazz funk. This album was originally recorded and released in 1974, but thanks to Charlie Leach and his team, we are now able to enjoy these vintage sounds of summer over a cup of kopi and wan tan noodles.
The album sleeve notes reveal that three of its members played with legends Azymuth. If you are a sucker of the Fender Rhodes synth sounds, this album is right up your alley. It is full on Brasilian jazzy funk flavas that would appeal to folks who are tense and need some aural sex to soothe their soul. The track in focus “Feel Like Making Love” is most evident of this from start to end. You really kind of feel like you are being transported back to the 70’s.
Other tracks in the album to look out for are “Agora Ou Nunca Mais” , “Roda Mundo” and many more. It will certainly appeal to cats who love their music groovy yet laid back in a stylo mylo kind of way. Highly recommended in my books. For those still seeking more of such killer stuff, visit their wicked site at www.whatmusic.com. Actually right now while writing this review, I feel kind of itchy and really feel like making love…
Tangkap This!!!
