Traveling Music hits our railroad in this week’s review.

Rush hour in the mornings, black faces, packed like sardines, stone faced peeps all around. This is the usual vibe faced by most commuters who take the M.R.T everyday. I am one of those, but here is the good news. Pete Rock created this super duper killer track for such occasions, and my suggestion is that you just loop the same track over and over and over again for the effect to take over those negative vibes. Thereafter, witness positive vibes to make your day a Sunny and Pleasant one.

Hence the title “Take The D Train”, ‘D’ I presume is (Dope). Besides this spotlight track in review, I also highly recommend this album for all hip hop headz who like abstract dope beatz. This album was created in early 2000 when BBE hooked up with Pete Rock and he decided to produce an eclectic album for our Beat Generation. A fusion of Jazz, Pop, Folk, Rock and Soul lace this ground breaking album.

So if you wanna be Number 1 Soul Bruddah or Number 1 Fly-Gal or just vibe to some eclectic fusion done with technical precision and class, do get your hands on this album and the force will really be with you.
