Swing Out Sister are easily the most bestest, most fiercest, most sophisticated jazz-pop group for all of us at HOT-4-U! Their cool brit-gentlemen style shows through in everything they do, even down to the top of the charts pop hits like Breakout and Am I The Same Girl. Personally, it’s their instrumental tracks that drive me nuts!
Here in the Kaleidoscope World album, make sure you only buy the CD version because I own the vinyl and it does not include tracks 11 – 14, bang balls! Before I go on, do yourself a favour and click here to buy the CD first, don’t waste time. While you’re at it, go ahead and buy other classy albums, It’s Better To Travel, Where Out Love Grows and the latest Beautiful Mess (released on Avex Japan). Not only would you save on shipping, but you will become a SOS-pro over night, good stuff don’t bruff!
I’ve decided on Coney Island Man because lead singer Corinne Drewery’s vocals are heaven sent! The smooth scatting and lalala-ing feels as good as walking on the beach with the waters gently breaking at your feet, and the salty breeze in your face, fullest on steam! Take my word for it, I just came back from Lombok and I’ve done my rounds with the iPod, definitely Tangkap material. Check out our short sample or go here for the full track.
Don’t miss out other heavy heavy instrumentals such as: Caipirinha, We’ll Find a Place, La Source…etc! Lastly, I would like to say a big thanks to all my brothers who made it to the wedding, sorry I don’t remember much but your presence is heart-felt!
Tangkap This!!!
